Install Instructions.
You are required to follow the instructions below for all Primo Brands installations. This is the main page for the overall instructions with specific Displays & Return Center instructions included below.
STEP 1. Open FastField Mobile App
1: Log into the FastField mobile app. Your username and password can be found in Field Nation under the Buyer’s Custom Fields.
Download: FastField App Store or FastField Google Play
2: In the Inbox, find the store you are currently at and open the install verification form. This form must be filled out in conjunction with these instructions. You will need to answer questions with management, take photos and submit before leaving the site.
STEP 2. Check-In with management
1: Review the Scope of Work in your form to determine the type of unit(s) you will be installing. Also review the “Machine Brand” field as the store may receive different Primo Brands (ie. Arrowhead, Poland Spring, Zephyerhills, Deer Park, etc). All instructions are exactly the same regardless of the branding.
2: Head to the Customer Service desk and ask for the Head Store Manager (or a Manager on Duty if they’re not available). Inform the manager you’re there to install a new Primo Brands display that has been shipped to their store and should be back in their receiving area.
3: Discuss the Scope of Work with the Store Manager and confirm an install location that they approve. In some cases, if a pre-install site survey was completed, it would be uploaded to your work order. If a survey is attached, review it with the Store Manager and confirm they agree with the install location.
➡ If a Store Manager refuses the installation, call or text KSG immediately at (720) 370-2760.
4: Gather the Store Manager’s information and enter it in the FastField form. You will need to get their name, title, email and phone number.
STEP 3. Find delivered unit in Receiving Area
1: Head to the store’s Receiving Area (back of store) and ask an employee where the new Primo Brands unit is located, then ask them for a pallet jack. The display is shipped on a pallet and you’ll need a pallet jack to move it to the front of the store.
➡ If there’s trouble finding the display, we provide tracking information and the delivery date within your form.
➡ If installing a 12-Count Display, it will be shipped in two boxes (one for the unit, one for the signage) and no pallet jack is needed.
2: Using a pallet jack, move the display to the Install Location.
STEP 4. Installation
Find the display type for each unit you are installing, then select the link below for each specific unit’s instructions.
STEP 5. Disposal of old unit
➡ This step only applies if you were assigned a replacement install. If only installing a new add-on, skip Step 5.
1: Place the old/damaged unit on the same pallet that the new unit was shipped on and return it to the Receiving Area.
2: Work with store management to determine if the damaged unit should be disposed of or if it should be returned to Primo Brands.
➡ Good Condition: If it is in good enough condition to be refurbished, keep the old display on the pallet the new unit came on and leave it in the Receiving Area.
➡ Bad Condition: Ask the Store Manager if they have a scrap metal bin. If they do, the old display must be broken down and disposed of in their scrap metal bin. If they do not, keep the old display on the pallet the new unit came on and leave it in the Receiving Area to be returned to Primo Brands for disposal.
3: For a bad condition unit to be taken apart for disposal in their scrap metal bin, you’ll need a mallet/hammer to assist in taking apart the display. The displays have a pin at the top of the posts that needs to be removed, then the top can pop off. If taking apart a Return Center or Combo Unit, you’ll also need a screwdriver to remove 4 bolts from the top of each post. Each of the interior racks just lift up and out, then the posts can be lifted up and removed from the base. You’ll be left with 4’ x 2’ sections that can be tossed into the scrap metal bin.
STEP 6. Submit Install Verification form
1: Confirm you’ve filled out the entire form and completed all BEFORE and AFTER photos in FastField. This must be completed and the form submitted while you are on-site.
